Update, Jan. 19, 2025 : This story, originally published Jan. 18, now includes additional mitigation advice from cybersecurity experts regarding the latest Microsoft Sneaky 2FA bypass attack.
If you thought that 2FA (2 Factor Authorisation) was secure then I am sorry to inform you that it is no longer safe and has officially been compromised.

This is a UK based organisation which is independent of any credit checking organisations so they will let you know when a suspicious transaction or an attempt to steal your identity occurs. This is a paid feature which only costs £15 per year with a two year minimum option.
The service you need is called a protective Registration marker.
Use this service if you have had your bank cards used in a unauthorised transaction.
Use this service if a third party organisation has leaked your personal information which has the potential of identity theft.
Use this service if you are concerned about any of the issues discussed here.
Every organisation that has to do with any and every kind of finance do a credit check on you before giving you a pass or fail and all of them are linked to the CIFAS database. Once you have purchased the protective Registration marker it will automatically flag any and every attempt made at obtaining finance in your name or even applying for a mobile, in short you have a red flag on your name which means that any financial organisation will without knowing it trigger the red flag on your name instructing them to do extra security checks to make sure it is you who is applying.
DISCLAIMER:
I am not paid anything from CIFAS or any organisation and only provide you with information which will could help you prevent an attack. - 1 Been thanked
